Steps to Join The Den
Welcome All
We hope you are all well rested and are excited for Season 2025 at 'The Den'! There will be a link for all umpires to pay the registration fee for the season. Training will begin on March 5th at City Beach Oval.
Training Details:
When: March 5th to September 7th
Where: City Beach Oval, Wednesdays 5:30pm to 6:45pm
1st Years from March 5th
2nd Years from March 19th
ALL Umpires from March 26th

2. Log-in to OfficialsHQ
New Umpires: Sign-Up and Click On "Claremont Umpires" as your Umpiring Club:
Returning Umpires: Sign-in and fill out the re-registration form.
3. Add Photo
Select the avatar in the top right, then 'account', then 'personal data', then update ' avatar' (please add a clear headshot) --> this will make recognising you for appointments much easier!
4. Purchase your ISC Game Day Uniform
Given the change in uniform supplier across WA umpiring for 2025 (from XBlades to ISC), information regarding uniform will be released as soon as the WAFC provides us with a purchase link.
Uniform required:
- 1x On-Field Shirt
- 1x On-Field Shorts
- 1x On-Field Socks

5. Complete Mandatory Education Modules
This year, all mandatory education modules MUST be completed prior to Round 1. We will be unable to apppoint you if these have not been completed.

Expectations
With any job there are requirements that need to be adhered to. Whilst it is important to have as many people as possible involved with Claremont, our policies and procedures need to be followed. The following list are requirements of all umpires during the season:
Attend three training sessions per month
Update your availability on OfficialsHQ for games by Monday
Abide by our Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
The following lists the Code of Conduct of all Claremont Umpires:
Umpire all matches in accordance with the rules and spirit of the game
Treat all players, coaches, and officials with respect
Place the safety and welfare of the players above all else
Remain impartial and maintain integrity
Be courteous, respectful, and open to discussion
Value the individual in sport. Ensure the players have the opportunity for discussion with you after the match
Seek continuous self-improvement and read post game feedback forms
Refrain from any form of abuse or harassment
